Limpet Lane Beach Access
A true hidden local gem at the end of the road in Deer Harbor. If you find this small public beach access, you’ll be rewarded with incredible views of President Channel, the Gulf Islands, and the San Juan Islands. It’s an amazing sunset spot and perfect for relaxing quietly while taking in the scenery. Please note this is a small beach with nearby residential homes, so be respectful of private property and keep noise to a minimum.
Windward Lane Bluff Walk
Just south of Deer Harbor Marina is one of Orcas Island's most beautiful hidden walks. This easy paved path winds through the Windward Lane neighborhood, passing immaculate waterfront homes, colorful gardens, and stunning bluff-top viewpoints overlooking Deer Harbor and the Wasp Islands. Benches along the route provide the perfect place to relax and watch sailboats, wildlife, and the ever-changing waters of the Salish Sea. It's an ideal morning coffee walk or sunset stroll and offers a peaceful glimpse into one of Orcas Island's most picturesque waterfront communities.
West Beach Resort

A classic west side Orcas destination with beautiful waterfront views, beach access, marina vibes, and stunning sunsets.
